Today, on April 10, ARMA representatives visited the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine to take part in a roundtable discussion on the topic "Interagency Educational Platform in the Security and Defence Sector - Cooperation for Victory".
The meeting was attended by representatives of more than 30 national law enforcement, anti-corruption, intelligence and security entities, the National Security and Defence Council, higher military educational institutions of Ukraine, educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the NACP, EUAM, CRDF Global Ukraine, and NATO Representation to Ukraine.
Vitalii Chubaievskyi, Head of the Asset Finding and Tracing Department of ARMA, presented a report on "ARMA's cooperation with the NA SSU in establishing a new profession of "Digital Detective".
In particular, he described the involvement and realization of the project initiated by the National Agency to establish the profession of "Digital Detective".
"The project is aimed at enhancing ARMA's ability to assist law enforcement agencies in investigating crimes involving digital assets. After all, more than 65% of all crimes today have a digital component," said the Head of ARMA's specialized department.
At the end of the event, Rector of National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine Andrii Cherniak presented certificates to the participants.
As a reminder, Head of ARMA Olena Duma and the National Agency's leadership are holding meetings and consultations with representatives of leading universities to implement the "Digital Detective" project in order to engage qualified staff in the sphere of assets tracing and management.
