ARMA continues to defend state interests: the court refused the former manager of the Glusco gas station network to reimburse almost UAH 7 million from state budget revenues

08-08-2024

On August 7, 2024, during the consideration of case № 910/1723/24 by the Commercial Court of the city of Kyiv, the claim of LLC "Naftogaz Oil Trading" against LLC "Glusko Retail" regarding the recovery of security costs in the amount of UAH 6,706,402.48 was refused. The case was considered with the participation of third parties: PJSC "Ukrnafta" and ARMA.

The court supported ARMA's position that there were no legal grounds to satisfy the claim, the plaintiff did not provide adequate evidence of expenses. In addition, ARMA was previously found to have inefficient and improper asset management (Glusco gas station network) and non-fulfillment of the terms of the contract.

We will remind that ARMA proved in court the legality of terminating the management contract with "Naftogaz Oil Trading", the ex-manager of the Glusco gas station network. Chamber audits of ARMA established improper management of assets and violation of the terms of the contract, which led to minimal revenues to the state budget.

ARMA continues to actively take measures to ensure effective asset management and protection of state interests. Effective management of seized assets guarantees billions of revenues to the state budget, which is key point for ARMA.
