During the regular meeting of the Commission for realization of seized assets, the winners of the previously announced lots were chosen, which will be realized in the future through the Prozorro.Prodazhi system. Among the lots are more than a hundred paintings and icons that belonged to the state traitor Viktor Medvedchuk.
According to the results of the competition, the right to sell the assets was distributed as follows:
- PС "TENDER ONLINE" has been selected as the winner for the implementation of:
- Collection of paintings and icons in the amount of 136 works
- Iron ore pellets placed in 77 wagons
- Iron ore pellets weighing 2,462 tons
- LLC "AUKTSIONIST" was chosen to implement:
- A mixed batch of equipment, including inverter generators, burners, flashlights
- LLC "Y.BIZ" will deal with the implementation of:
- Household chemistry
The competition for the sale of the collection of paintings and icons that belonged to the state traitor Viktor Medvedchuk, LLC " AUCTIONIST" took second place. If the winner of PС "TENDER ONLINE" refuses to sell this asset, the runner-up gets the right to sell it.
The selected auction organizers will be responsible for conducting auctions on the Prozorro.Sales platform for each of the identified assets. This will ensure a transparent and competitive process of selling seized property.
In addition, at the initiative of ARMA, after the Agency appealed to the Ministry of Culture, experts of the National Art Museum of Ukraine inspected 285 paintings. Of these, 112 paintings are recognized as having cultural and historical value.
On the initiative and support of the specialized Committee on Anti-corruption Policy, draft law 11280-1, which regulates the transfer of cultural values to the National Museum, was approved in the first reading. Therefore, we expect the approval of the draft law in the second reading.
We would like to remind you that earlier the selection of legal entities, which implement the sale of seized property, took place manually and in closed mode. This did not result in the transparency of the process and corruption risks. Starting from the second half of 2023, ARMA began to transform all processes related to the management and sale of assets. In particular, the Commission for Realization of Seized Assets was formed. It is formed from representatives of ARMA, the Public Council under ARMA and officials of other state bodies. All meetings of the Commission are broadcast online on the ARMA YouTube channel.
The Agency continues its activity in the management of seized assets, contributing to the effective use of state resources and ensuring the transparency of the processes of property sale.
