ARMA traces property of Ukrainian businessman suspected in aiding occupants

Following a request from the SSU Central Office in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the Asset Recovery and Tracing Department of ARMA has traced the assets of a Ukrainian businessman who voluntarily transferred land in the temporarily occupied Crimea to the representatives of the aggressor state. This was announced today, April 16, by Pavlo Velykorechanin, Deputy Head of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA).

According to the investigation, this person provided land plots for the installation of mobile radar stations and anti-aircraft missile systems of the russian federation, which were used to attack the territory of Ukraine.

According to Pavlo Velykorechanin, there is a high probability that these lands were used by representatives of the aggressor country to damage Ukraine's critical infrastructure. The investigation is currently checking this information.

At the same time, ARMA staff analysed a large amount of information and confirmed that the suspect is currently engaged in business activities in Ukraine and has significant wealth.

"Among all the offender's property, ARMA staff found residential and non-residential real estate, land plots, a share in the authorised capital totalling almost UAH 150 thousand, as well as water transport. The obtained data was sent to the pre-trial investigation body for seizure of the detected assets," added the Deputy Head of the National Agency..

ARMA continues to cooperate with law enforcement agencies to identify and seize assets of individuals who threaten the national interests of Ukraine.
