Olena Duma, Head of the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA), and Dmytro Kukhniuk, Head of the National Mediation and Conciliation Service (NMCS), have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the two state agencies.
One of the key objectives of the cooperation is to consolidate efforts to effectively resolve and prevent conflicts between labor collectives and managers of seized property. The cooperation envisages the implementation of joint measures aimed at preventing labor disputes, as well as the involvement of the NMCS specialists when ARMA and its interregional territorial departments conduct inspections of enterprises transferred to management with the involvement of regional NMCS representatives.
As part of this cooperation, the NMCS will act as an arbitrator, providing an objective assessment of emerging situations and facilitating the peaceful resolution of conflicts. Thanks to the extensive system of regional offices of the NMCS in all regions of Ukraine, cooperation will be prompt and effective.
Head of ARMA Olena Duma said: “We need to strengthen both ARMA and the NMCS. The signed Memorandum is an important step towards this. This partnership is another step for ARMA in ensuring effective asset management and, as a result, stable operation of the companies transferred to its management to strengthen the country's economy and fill the state budget. Joint efforts with the NMCS will allow us to respond in a timely manner to potential conflicts and ensure the protection of the rights of labor collectives.”
Dmytro Kukhniuk, Chairman of the National Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Ukraine, emphasized: “Cooperation with the ARMA will help to increase the effectiveness of our work in preventing and resolving labor disputes, especially in the context of a possible increase in the number of strikes after the end of martial law.”
The signed Memorandum will become a solid basis for fruitful cooperation aimed at ensuring social stability and protecting the rights of employees at enterprises whose assets are managed by ARMA.
