ARMA holds first large-scale meeting with Ukrainian media

13-02-2025

Today, on 13 February, the National Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) held the first large-scale press event in the agency's history with the participation of two dozen leading Ukrainian media.

During the two-hour dialogue, the most high-profile ARMA cases were discussed: from the management of the Gulliver shopping mall and the assets of oligarchs to Medvedchuk's seized yacht. Particular attention was paid to the draft law on amendments to the ARMA law recently voted in the first reading as part of the Ukraine Facility Plan.

Today we have started a new tradition of open dialogue with the media community. ARMA as a government agency should be as transparent as possible to the public. Journalists are the eyes of the public, and we are ready to answer any questions, even the most challenging ones, said the Head of ARMA Olena Duma.

Media representatives were given the opportunity to ask questions on all aspects of the agency's work, from strategic directions to the details of specific cases.

ARMA is grateful to the media for the professional and constructive dialogue. Such meetings will become regular and will be held on a quarterly basis, which will ensure a systematic information connection between the agency and the society.

Openness and accountability are not just words, they are the daily practice of our work. We will continue to adhere to the principles of transparency, because public trust is the basis for the effectiveness of a government authority,” said OlenaDuma.

The next meeting with media representatives is scheduled for May 2025.
