Head of the National Agency took part in the coordination meeting of the heads of law-enforcement bodies of the Kyiv

On September 26, Anton Yanchuk, Head of the National Agency for finding, tracing and management of assets derived from corruption and other crimes, participated in the coordination meeting of the heads of law-enforcement bodies of the Kyiv, devoted the issues of combating crime and ensuring public order in the city of Kyiv.

Opening the meeting, Roman Govda, the City's Prosecutor, emphasized the need to intensify the work of investigative and operational units  to investigate the unlawful use of budget funds, functioning of criminal groups, considering drug crimes, raiding and other crimes in the city as a whole.

Special attention was given to cooperation between law-enforcement agencies and the National Agency within the criminal justice. Taking the floor, Anton Yanchuk presented the tasks and functions of the newly launched state institution and the procedure for interaction with law-enforcement bodies.

During the meeting, the main challenges of combating crimes and corruption were identified.

In the meeting also participated Deputy Head of the National Police of Ukraine - Head of the Main Department of Kyiv, Andriy Kryshchenko, heads of the capital's units of the National Police, the Security Service of Ukraine and the State Fiscal Service.
