ARMA Professional Education Center: key to professional development of future specialists

30-01-2025

The Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) actively cooperates with Ukrainian higher education institutions. An example of such cooperation is the ARMA Professional Education Center (Dnipro, Ukraine), established jointly with the University of Customs and Finance. Since its inception, the Center has become a center for training students and holding educational events with the participation of leading ARMA specialists.

In addition, students had the opportunity to practice the theoretical skills acquired at the University in ARMA units. In particular, in 2024, 11 students of the University completed internships at ARMA. At the same time, the Center provided opportunities for professional development of ARMA employees through specialized events and trainings.

Currently, the Center is actively working on training specialists who will be able to join the professional and motivated ARMA team. The ARMA Professional Education Center's work plan for 2025 has already been approved, which includes further development of educational programs and promotion of ARMA's activities among students.

In 2025, within the framework of the approved work plan of the Center, the Head of the South-Eastern MTU Oleksandr Vedmidskyi has already held the first meeting with the University leadership, in particular with the Rector of the University DmytroBocharov, the First Vice-Rector (Chairman of the Academic Council) Viktor Chentsov and the Dean of the Faculty Victoria Datsenko.

In this context, the issue of cooperation with higher education institutions and expanding the professional orientation of Ukrainian youth remains important.

Why is it important?

Training of qualified specialists. The expansion of information about ARMA's activities in educational institutions will allow training students who better understand the specifics of working with seized assets and will be able to effectively apply this knowledge in practice.

Strengthening the asset management system. Education is a key tool for forming a new generation of professionals capable of working according to modern standards and contributing to the development of the rule of law.

Support for innovation and integration. Such centers in Ukrainian universities will promote innovation in the field of asset management, adapting international best practices to Ukrainian realities, and will expand the National Agency's ability to use advanced technologies in its work.

Creating a network of experts. Such initiatives form a professional community that can jointly solve urgent problems, develop new approaches and improve the legal framework.

Further development of the ARMA Professional Education Center is an integral part of efforts to improve the asset management system in Ukraine. The integration of educational institutions in this area contributes to the formation of highly qualified personnel ready to meet the challenges of today.

In July 2024, the Deputy Head of ARMA for European Integration Grigol Katamadzemet with students of the University of Customs and Finance at the ARMA Center.
