Vadym Hrona has voluntarily resigned from his position as Deputy Head of the ARMA Anti-Corruption Council and has withdrawn from its membership.
His statement was publicly announced during an extraordinary meeting of the ARMA Anti-Corruption Council on December 20, 2023.
"As the Head of the Agency, I welcome the decision of the Deputy Head of the ARMA Anti-Corruption Council, which allows us to avoid discrediting the body and this advisory body under it,” commented the Head of the National Agency Olena Duma. “Negative information in the media would require considerable time and effort to verify, so I am pleased that reputational capacity has been ensured. Furthermore, the activities of the state body are dedicated to implementing zero tolerance to corruption, transparency and integrity. The ARMA will continue to maintain a high level of transparency and meet the legitimate demands of civil society. We must make every effort together to build high trust in the Agency."
It should be reminded that the ARMA Anti-Corruption Council was established on September 19, 2023. The advisory body held its first meeting on October 27. Tetiana Khutor, a representative of the NGO "Institute of Legislative Ideas", was elected as the Head of the ARMA Anti-Corruption Council.
