The High Anti-Corruption Court has upheld ARMA's position that it has legal grounds to manage over UAH 25 million.
The relevant ruling was received by the National Agency on January 18, 2024.
The Agency received these funds in 2021 from the sale of a number of seized assets. Referring to the martial law regime, the State Special Communications Service approved an order to forcibly seize more than 25 million UAH from the ARMA. At the same time, the HACC determined that the National Agency's failure to comply with this order was lawful.
Consequently, these assets remain under ARMA's management on the account of a state-owned bank.
In this and other cases, the National Agency will continue to effectively and transparently manage seized assets, work on sustainable budget revenues and strengthen the country's defense capabilityduring the war.
