ARMA presents innovative methods of asset tracing at training for law enforcement officers: Head of the National Agency presents certificates to participants

 A series of intensive trainings for specialists in the field of asset recovery and financial investigations has been completed. The training was organized by the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine (EUAM), the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) and the State University of Trade and Economics (SUTE).

The event brought together more than 70 representatives of Ukraine's key law enforcement and regulatory agencies, including ARMA, NABU, the General's Prosecutor  Office, the SSU, the State Financial Monitoring Service, the National Police and the Economic Security Bureau.

The Head of ARMA, Olena Duma, together with EUAM Senior Advisor in Ukraine Andriy Baran and SUTE CEO Anatoliy Mazaraki, presented the participants with certificates of successful completion of the training program on financial crime investigation. The Head of the National Agency thanked the organizers of the event and emphasized the importance of interagency cooperation:

“The synergy between ARMA and law enforcement agencies is the foundation of an effective Ukrainian system of asset recovery and financial crime investigation. Our unique experience with advanced digital systems, registries, OSINT methodologies and international partners significantly enhances the capabilities of law enforcement in asset recovery. These certificates are a symbol of our common mission: to ensure that criminal assets are identified and used for the benefit of the state.”

During the training, experts from the Department of Digital Development of Asset Finding and Tracing and the ARMA Digital Transformation Department shared with law enforcement officers the unique experience and innovative methods of ARMA's asset recovery work:

  • Presented enhanced access to automated information resources and state registers.
  • We revealed the potential and peculiarities of using OSINT technologies in financial investigations.
  • Conducted a master class on the use of the ORBIS database for effective asset tracing.

ARMA and EUAM plan to continue their cooperation in the future to improve the skills of specialists in the field of asset recovery and financial investigations.
