ARMA presents a collection of expensive medvedchuk watches to potential bidders

05-09-2024

Thanks to joint organizational efforts with the Security Service of Ukraine, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) has accepted 20 medvedchuk's watches under acceptance certificates and transferred them to an electronic platform to ensure their sale.

Tomorrow, an auction for the sale of medvedchuk's watch collection will be held on the electronic trading platform Prozorro.Prodazhi.

Earlier, the ARMA Competition Commission announced the winner of the tender for the organization of the sale of these assets. The winner is LLC "Polonex", which will sell 20 wristwatches on Prozorro. Prodazhi, including: “Breguet 4416K, Patek Philippe, Dolce & Gabbana and others.

Today, ARMA provided access to these seized assets for potential buyers, watchmaking experts and members of the public.

During the event at the ARMA headquarters, the above-mentioned assets were transferred under the acts of acceptance from the investigative body of the Security Service of Ukraine to the National Agency. In turn, ARMA transferred 20 watches to the organizer of the auction - LLC "Polonex".

The total value of all 20 lots is 10.6 million UAH.

Representatives of the Bid Organizer, potential buyers and experts were able to open and examine each watch presented for sale. Such a demonstration was made possible through enhanced cooperation with the pre-trial investigation authority and provided the participants with the opportunity to examine the watches with their own eyes, rather than through photos.

The experts noted a number of exclusive characteristics of some units, which corresponds to the valuation. In particular, some watches have the following exclusive features that are unique to their brands: gold case (which has never been seen before for the Dolce & Gabbana brand), mirrored serial numbers, which is an exception for a brand such as Breguet. Such and other examples discovered and recorded during the demonstration of medvedchuk's seized watches surprised experts and interested potential buyers.

After the auction and the sale of the lots, the funds will go to the state budget and will be used to purchase military bonds. In this way, ARMA will provide support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine by effectively managing the property of a traitor to Ukraine.

As a reminder, on August 23, ARMA announced 20 tenders to sell the seized watches of viktor medvedchuk, a former MP and traitor to Ukraine.
