The deadline for submission of documents for the competitive selection of the manager of assets of the Residence "Mezhyhirya" has been extended until February 28, 2019 inclusively. This was outlined by the Head of ARMA Anton Yanchuk at a press conference.
"The competitive selection of the manager of “Mezhyhirya" lasted for the longest period of time in the history of ARMA. We extended it twice and made public announcements thereof. Due to the fact that the interest of the business in managing the indicated asset turned out to be extremely low, the Tender Committee of ARMA decided to end the competitive selection with those applicants who submitted documents to participate in the competitive selection", - said Anton Yanchuk, adding that, given the appeal of investigative journalists concerning the provision of public conduct of the competitive selection, ARMA decided to meet the request of the public and extend the competitive selection until the end of February, seeing this an extraordinary opportunity to attract additional business attention to the management of "Mezhyhirya".
In the two months of the competitive selection, only two legal entities – Civic Organization "National Park of Ukraine "Mezhygirya" and LLC "Atlant Develop" - submitted documents for participation in the selection of the manager of assets in form of movable and immovable property located in the village Novi Petrivtsi, Vyshhorod district, Kyiv region (residence "Mezhyhirya"). However, only one of the two participants met the qualification requirements.
According to Andriy Potemkin, Head of ARMA’s Legal Department, in summer 2018, ARMA sent invitations to participation in the competition to more than 50 reputable organizations representing the media and entertainment business, including the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, Paramount Pictures. However, none of the companies became interested in "Mezhyhirya".
At the press conference, the chairman of the Public Council at ARMA Gleb Kanevsky noted that the Public Council supports the ARMA's decision to extend the competition and will exercise public control over the conduction of the competition in order to ensure maximum transparency.
Let us remind that seized assets in form of immovable and movable property, located in the village Novi Petrivtsi, Vyshhorod district, Kyiv region (residence "Mezhyhirya") were transferred into the management of ARMA on the basis of the rulings of the Pechersk District Court of the city of Kyiv from 29.05.2018
№ 757/25776/18-k and from 06.06.2018 № 757/27722/18-k.
