This was announced by Stanislav Petrov, Deputy Head of ARMA for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalization (CDTO), during the Kyiv International Cyber Resilience Forum “Resilience at the Cyber War” which was held on 7-8 February 2024.
The Deputy Head of ARMA shared the experience of ARMA's digital transformation. Particularly, about OSINT work, cooperation with YouControl, RuAssets, Orbis, Hunchly, ArcGis, Sayari, Maltego. In addition, he described the latest methods of working with information, namely:
- macros for mass processing of data from registers have been developed;
- software for working with Big Data has been created;
- processing of banking information has been automated;
- a mechanism for parsing open data has been developed.
"Today, more than ever, Ukraine needs the development and experience of partners and international entities in the field of cybersecurity. Enemy continues to attack our country, so we must be resilient and progressive in cyberspace. It is important to work and learn from our international partners and work on our legislative framework," said Stanislav Petrov.
Stanislav Petrov shared the National Agency's immediate plans for the development of digital transformation, in particular, the creation of an ARMA Situation Centre for consistent, comprehensive monitoring and analysis of situations related to the finding, tracing and management of assets, and the creation of a Security Operations Centre for rapid response to cyber threats, as well as comprehensive protection of ARMA's information and communication systems.
Presently, ARMA is focused on protecting the registry and digitalising the process of asset management, ensuring transparency of such processes and stable replenishment of the state budget from the management, as well as finding and tracing assets using modern cybersearch tools.
ARMA's future lies in tracing and managing virtual assets, which will undoubtedly become a significant source of filling the state budget.
