ARMA found assets of Ukrainian Agribusinessman who assisted aggressor state

Pursuant to a request from the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) Department in Sumy region, ARMA found and traced the assets of a Ukrainian businessman who, by prior conspiracy with others, assisted russia. His actions are qualified as assisting the aggressor state (Part 1 Art. 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The pre-trial investigation established that the defendant, being the founder and owner of 18 agricultural enterprises, violated the requirements of land legislation and organized an illegal scheme to lease large areas of land from russian citizens. Additionally, the entrepreneur paid rent for the use of assets (transferred funds to bank accounts of russian citizens or handed over cash).

According to Pavlo Velykorechanin, Deputy Head of ARMA, through the use of information and reference systems, registers and databases, the Agency's employees found the following assets belonging to the suspect:

motor vehicles (pcs.) - 239

non-residential real estate (units) - 13

land plots (pcs.) - 4 531

agricultural products (units) - 43 386 406

agricultural machinery with components (units) - 415

shares in authorized capital (UAH) - 567,583,542

The ARMA forwarded the findings to the SSU for appropriate action, including seizure of assets and their subsequent confiscation.
