On February 7, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA) transferred seized real estate to the managing company for actual management - an elite apartment that is located in the capital on the Obolonska embankment, formerly owned by ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych.

According to Vitalii Riznyk, Head of the Asset Management Department of ARMA, the seized asset was transferred to the Agency for management based on the ruling of the investigating judge of the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv dated May 29, 2018. The market value of the apartment with a total area of 240 square meters according to the evaluation report is UAH 26 904 490.00.

According to the results of the competition held by the tender committee of ARMA, the managing company was selected, with which ARMA concluded an appropriate management agreement.

“The task of the manager is to preserve this asset and its economic value, as well as to ensure the transfer of revenues to the state budget from the income management of this asset in accordance with the terms of the concluded agreement", - emphasized Vitalii Riznyk.

Let us remind that, according to Article 21 of the Special Law, management of immovable property is carried out by ARMA by means of its sale or transfer into management to the manager- legal entity determined on a competitive basis in accordance with the procedure established by legislation on public procurement.
