The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved an indicative list of siezed property to be sold. The relevant Resolution of the Government of Ukraine, elaborated by the National Agency, was adopted today, September 13, at Cabinet meeting.

Legal act was developed to implement the provisions of Article 21 of the Law of Ukraine "On the National Agency of Ukraine on Findinf, Tracing and Management of Assets derived from Corruption and Other Crimes" and Article 100 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

The Government's Resolution defines the qualification criteria and characteristics of the property, which in case of relevance, seized property is subject to disposal based on court decision. Will not be subject to disposal the property that does not correspond to the features of one or more typies specified in the indicative list.

Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine "On the Indicative List of Property, including in the form of things or large batches of goods, the storage of which due to bulkiness or for other reasons is impossible without unnecessary difficulties or costs incurred to ensure special conditions of storage of which or management of which are commensurate with a value of such property, or the property which quickly depreciates, as well as the property in the form of perishable goods or products, to be sold" will allow the National Agency to ensure the implementation of entitled functions in the sphere of management of property that seized in a criminal proceeding, or in proceedings for the recognition of unfounded assets and their claims, and will facilitate preservation of the value of seized assets.

The Government's decision will come into force on the day of publishing.
